Daniel is a Hamilton-based composer/performer and educator. He has been teaching guitar privately and at various music schools since the mid 1990’s and at PCMA since 2012. A graduate of Humber College’s renowned music program. His approach to teaching includes developing new techniques and tricks as well as exploring vistas of creativity and self-expression. All of these demand the capacity for disciplined work as well as the capacity to indulge in healthy doses of musical playfulness, zaniness and fun! Daniel began performing his ethereal/soulful guitar and vocal based songs and compositions professionally in a variety of settings in the early 1990’s. He released “TA LUMIERE,” a CD featuring ten tracks of his work, in the winter of 2007, and is currently inching his way through recording a second disc. He is also the Facilitator of soulful hand drum workshops and Artistic Director of Under the Willows Children Summer Program, a camp for at risk and special needs children.
