Piano / Flute / RCM Exam Preparation

Karen started playing piano at the age of five. At a young age, she participated in music festivals and competitions such as the Kiwanis Music Festival. Her family moved back to Hong Kong where she continued her academic and musical studies. At the age of only fifteen, she obtained her LTCL Diploma in Piano, from the Trinity College of London. This Licentiate is equivalent in standard to the final year of an undergraduate degree. This accreditation is equivalent to the ARCT (Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Music from the RCM. Karen is now in her final year at the University Of Toronto Faculty Of Music. In addition to teaching Piano, Karen also teaches Flute at PCMA. Her musical tastes and talents extend beyond the realm of classical music to include musical theatre and choir.
